Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Ashlee Kay (trading as Reset48) ("we", "us"), the seller of the Reset48 website and app. By creating an account or continuing to use Reset48, you agree to these terms.

The service

Reset48 offers life-organizing tools (a 48-hour reset sprint, goals, habits, planner, budget, wellness and journaling) and an AI coach named Sage. The sprint is free; Reset48 Plus is a paid subscription with extra features and unlimited coaching.

Your account

You must be at least 16, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a subscription. If you use Reset48 for an organization, you confirm you can bind it. Give accurate information, keep your login private, and you're responsible for activity on your account.

Payments, renewals and cancellation

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

• Reset48 Plus costs $2.99/month or $24.99/year, plus applicable taxes, and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from "Manage billing". You keep Plus until the end of your paid period.
• Switching between monthly and yearly happens immediately and is prorated.
• Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Acceptable use

Plus has no monthly Sage message cap. For service protection, each account may send up to six requests per minute; automated abuse and sharing paid access are prohibited. Temporary AI service interruptions may affect availability.

You must not misuse Reset48, including: breaking the law; fraud, spam or impersonation; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware, probing or attacking our systems, scraping, reverse engineering, reselling access, or getting around usage limits.

Using Sage, our AI coach

• Don't use Sage to create illegal content, hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, deepfakes of real people, malware, or to try to bypass its safety rules ("jailbreaking").
• You're responsible for what you send to Sage, for having the right to share it, and for how you use its replies.
• Sage's replies can be wrong or incomplete. They are general education and motivation, not medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice. Check important information and talk to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
• We may filter or refuse replies, remove content, and limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Intellectual property

We own Reset48, including its software, design, content, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use it under your plan. What you write stays yours; you let us store and process it only to run the service for you. Sage's replies to you are yours to use, subject to the law. If you believe content on Reset48 infringes your rights, email Paydaywithashleekay@gmail.com and we'll review and remove it where appropriate. Repeat infringers lose access.

Availability

We work hard to keep Reset48 running, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change over time.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations. You can stop using Reset48 and delete your data at any time. When your account ends, your data is deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Reset48 is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a purpose. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law doesn't allow it. You agree to cover claims caused by your unlawful use or breach of these terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and disputes go to its courts. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger or sale. We aren't responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the new date here.
